BIBLIOTECA VENETA 2021-2026

The collection consists of jewelry with quotes about Venice by poets and writers from around the world, as well as water philosophy-themed jewelry. The Latin word venetus means ”seagreen, blue, azure”, but the name of the ethnic group Veneti traces its roots back to the Indo-European word root wen — “white, bright, friendly, beloved”. Straightforwardly or coincidentally, these meanings are projected both on the name of Venice and its region Veneto, so closely associated with the water element – a synonym for love, life and unification.
